BCV’s Web page on currency redenomination is expanded

 BCV puts a converter at the public’s disposal

Banco Central de Venezuela puts a converter at the public’s disposal. It will allow anyone to perform interactive exchange calculations from bolivares to bolivares fuertes and vice versa. Users of BCV’s web page www.reconversionbcv.org.ve will be able to use this currency tool designed by the institute as part of its strategy to guarantee the proper development of the currency redenomination process.   

Other functions like allowing additional calculation and being able to convert bolivares fuertes into other currencies will be available in the near future.

BCV’s web page provides all the information regarding currency redenomination; agenda of events, legal aspects and informative resources (logos, videos, tryptics). Based on transparency and on civic participation, these documents can be easily accessed. There is also a web-mail (biblio@bcv.org.ve) for users to ask questions and make comments.
